LongHorn Steakhouse

Kudos to assistant manager Carol for making things right for our visit. She made sure we were waited on quickly and the food was superb! The wild west shrimp appetizer was amazing! She even brought out a delicious chocolate mousse cake for dessert which was absolutely divine. Best steakhouse in Spartanburg!

The past two times we have been there the wait staff and food were excellent. The reason I can only give you 3 stars is because of the hostess staff. They have no clue what they are doing. They would set the wrong buzzers to ring for the wrong people and then not have the right name on the ticket to be seated. There were even people that their name had been called would just go up there and say they were the customers. The ticket may say 3 and the party is only 2 but they'll go ahead and seat them. I don't see us going back in the near future until the hostess staff you have now is either gone or trained to do their job right..

Steak was a little better than okay. French onion soup was poorly made and barely above room temperature. We were quickly seated at our table, but the wait for the food after ordering was too long. Other than the slow to clean tables, the dining area was generally clean, however...the bathrooms were disgusting. No exaggeration, I've seen cleaner bathrooms in a truck stop. My daughter confirmed the same condition in the Ladies Room. Given the amount of money spent, I would likely not eat here again. Texas Roadhouse or Outback are much better choices, IMO.

Went for my dad's 92 birthday party for lunch. Was approximately one third full. Party of 11. Was 55 minutes from time time we were seated until salads came out. My prime rib sandwich was cold and the cheese looked like it had been melted yesterday. Had to ask for drink refills. Attached is a picture of my crispy fries. Just not an overall good experience. Still tipped well because everyone has bad days.

I really like this place. Good food and service. We almost never have a long wait if any and you never feel cramped as they have a large waiting area. They also have a very nice full service bar. Lots of free parking.
