LongHorn Steakhouse

Beautiful place with great food and a very friendly staff. The atmosphere here is happy and joyful. This place is always family friendly and a great place to eat. The only downside is the wait when they get busy. But all great restaurants have that. The wait is never too long and even if it was the deliciousness of the food will make up for it. I will definitely be coming back.

Last night I had dinner with a couple friends at this longhorn steakhouse. I guess there is a first time for everything because last night was the 1st time I had a disappointing experience at longhorn steak house. I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye cooked medium. The waitress confirmed my order in the way I wanted my steak prepared which was medium with A warm pink middle , not a medium rare red bloody steak. I told my server about it and she was very polite and offered to get me another one or put my steak back on the grill. Call me funny call me weird but I don't do that. I ask to speak to the manager and he came over in was very polite and offered me the same deal another steak or put mine back on the grill and I explain to him the same as I explain to my server I don't do that because I don't trust someone that I don't know especially after I have complained about their cooking. The manager assured me that they don't do that there which is probably true however you do not know what people are capable of when you're not looking and someone complains about their cooking. The manager then proceed to tell me that my bloody steak is their opinion of medium... Wrong! Medium means no blood coming out of your steak just pink in the middle... if your steak is bleeding red and the center is red not pink... its medium rare!!! All the manager did after I refused his offer for another steak or to put mine back on the grill was make excuses for the cook such as I just explained this is our version of medium along with well we don't turn our grills up as hot as some other restaurants. I'm the paying customer and my opinion should matter the most and if I don't want what you offer you should ask the customer what would make them happy. I would have been perfectly satisfied with the manager cutting my bill in half Or anything else besides excuses for his cook that doesn't know the difference between rare medium rare medium medium well and well done. The manager also informed me that I should have ordered that steak medium plus if I wanted it medium with no blood… wrong again! The manager in my opinion did not care if I was a satisfied customer who would come back to spend my money at this establishment. Next time I might give it a second thought of where I'm gonna spend my money for a steak… and the chances of it being longhorn steakhouse are very slim...

The food is very tasty! Especially the parmesan crusted steak & chicken. However one of these two things always happen when we go. 1. steaks are rarely cooked how you order it. If you enjoy a medium, order medium rare (you get the idea). 2. service is bad. We go here often for the food and one of those things always happens. But the food keeps sending us back. (of course they fix the steaks that don't come out how you ordered it)

Food is overpriced for what you get. You can fake steak it seems. Service is mediocre at best.

Awesome steak. Good service. The steak took 2 days to get over because of the seasoning they use though. It was good but If you have problems with acid reflux, use caution when ordering steak.
