Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant

Haven't been to this place in a long, long time, but since I'm google reviewing tonight, might as well spill the beans. What an experience! Eating at Lorenzo's was about on par with spending 5,000 years in the 8th layer of Hell. The service was bad. The tea was worse: stale and apparently left over from 8 days before. I suspect it had been sitting in a garbage bin marinating in the stink of the dumpster. And the food....good God the food was vomit inducing garbage. I can forgive a place bad service, if the food is good. I can kinda forgive bad food if the service is good. Nothing is good at Lorenzo's. Do yourself a favor and eat garbage out of a dumpster before going to this place.

The best Italian I've had in New Mexico. As they say.... when in Rome do as the Romans..... they have incredible green chili infused dishes. The green chili sausage soup is absolutely delicious. Don't forget their fresh baked hearty bread. Try a chicken or ribeye sandwich on it....so good! What makes the experience even better is the usual presence of the owner in the trenches with the employees. Great guy who genuinely cares. This place is a must anytime we're in town.

Wow! I was just driving through on my way back to Palm Springs California when I came across this place and decided to give it a try. Let me start off that I had an appetizer. I had the calamari and it was absolutely to die for. The coating on the calamari was light. There was plenty of it. I ordered pasta and meatball half order. It also came with a salad. The young lady also brought bread over as well. I was absolutely stuffed. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was even better. This is a authentic Italian place. If you live in the area or if you are passing through, I suggest that you try this place out. I'm glad I didn't miss this.

A very basic selection of italian dishes, not bad, but not spectacular. A little disappointed because there's so much they could do with this. If you have older or younger people in your group, this is good -nothing different, and fairly bland. Poor wine list. On a positive, extremely polite and friendly staff!

Good food and excellent service. Pretty much 1 of 2 Italian places in town. Green Chile marinara is awesome and they sell it by the jar. Also has gluten free penne available
