Yellow Brix Restaurant

I hate to have to give this low of a rating, but I try my best to be fair and honest. It is obviously a "Mom & Pops" restaurant, which I love. We went on Sunday, after church. They were pretty busy, but NOT swamped. We were there several minutes before being addressed, which was to tell us that they would be right with us. Having finally been seated, we were at the restaurant for an hour (no exaggeration) before receiving our food. During this time, another couple who came in and was seated AFTER us, received their food BEFORE us. During a brief exchange with our waitress, I complimented the food quality and taste and calmly and politely expressed I didn't think we should have had to wait so long for it. She agreed but stated they were short-handed by six staff members. While I absolutely understand being short staffed, I don't believe they were missing six employees on one day. I don't believe they have room for an additional six employees. In the end, the only saving grace to this relatively low to mid grade rating was the food. While pricing could have been lower to suit me, the food was absolutely delicious! I can still recommend giving them a shot, but not if you're in a hurry.

The food was good but it took over 45 minutes to get it after waiting 20 minutes to order. The roasted grape salad was delicious . I ordered a green chili cheese burger well done and when it finally came the burger was red in the middle. Our waitress rarely came around to refill our drinks. The bathrooms were out of soap and hand towels also

Food was excellent. Service was amazing. Our server was Dominic and he was very personable and pleasant. Recommend to everyone. We ate on the patio and it was really nice.

Had lunch at Yellow Brix Restaurant today. If you haven't been...Go now. Loved the service, the sweet little house the restaurant is in and last but not least...the food. The chicken tortilla soup is to die for also had a great pear salad. My husband had the special of the day a pulled pork wrap in a soft taco she'll with great sauce. Lovely outside eating area too.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Loved the location, our waitress was amazing and super attentive. the food was delicious and yummy. The kids ate a lot here. Was visiting Carlsbad for the day and so glad we stopped here for lunch, Highly recommend,
