Beautiful place to walk around. I would like to suggest maybe a bathroom/port a potty down somewhere along the path around the bottom of the stairs. Other than that, my kids & I really like it there.

Fantastic place for tent camping as u r sourounded by the forest and not other campers where I camped, although there are options to camp in a big foresty field near other campers as well as rv camping.

Nice overlook of river. Blackhawk Statue is landmark and is currently covered in large tarps. Saw a few bald eagles along the river.

A beautiful campground! Great fire just a quiet getaway. Only gave it 4 instead of 5 simply because there isn't any Ranger talks or programs. If you are looking for a simple camping getaway with a few short trails this place is lovely.
