My boyfriend and I love this place year round! We fish in the summer. And enjoy renting the fishing boats and pontunes. We also like coming here to hike. Last year we saw a opossum on our hike. Today we saw hundreds of migrating sea gulls. Always a joy to come and spend the day at Shabbona Lake!

I love this park...been visiting for years. Camping is great, clean showers. Abundant wildlife, good fishing. Beautiful lake.

Nice park. Great place to fish and kayak and have a picnic. Can also rent a boat or kayak or paddleboat

The Shabbona State Park is a big beautiful place and has a lot to do lots of good trails excellent camping and the restaurant is very good. It looks like they just had a new roof put on and it and it looks awesome!!
