It's a very friendly place. They have staff members who are always willing to help and will sit to answer all of your questions, and trust me, as new pet owners, we spent the entire Saturday (4hrs.) just asking questions. They also take great care of the animals there, I know this because I always see young volunteers and team members literally sit in the cages/kennel and play/give attention to the dogs/puppies. The place and animals are always clean and they have the most adorable dogs/cats there. After looking around so many shelters we ended here after a friend recommended it to us. We love this place and decided to adopt 2 pets, a 5 month old Puppy and a 1 year old Doggie. I went in a couple of times after, and they always have new arrivals. They also have the cutest puppies. I would definitely recommend to a family / friends and to myself again in the future.

I don't often write reviews but I think this shelter deserves one. I stopped by once because I happen to be in the area and was so impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency of the organization I traveled back over an hour a few times to find the perfect cat to adopt. I dealt with Amanda who is sincere and helpful in her ability to really find a perfect match for each person. They have so much staff spending time socializing the animals it allows them to get adopted faster. If your thinking of adopting definitely make the trip and see a good example of how most shelters should be running.

The animals are well cared for in clean cages with caring staff. We saw several instances of staff and volunteers playing with the animals, cuddling with them, or just sitting with an anxious pup to calm him. It was obvious the staff really care about these animals and take good care of them. I appreciate that they ask you to spend some time in one of the rooms getting to know an animal before adopting it. It seems like the transition would be smoother for both family and pet.

They are all so knowledgeable, the young lady who helped us was helpful. She came off a bit rude and snobbish though. I believe she realised it half way through us adopting our puppy. Besides her, the staff was very polite and thankful. The shelter it self was so clean, all dogs seemed perfectly groomed. Seems that they have a lot of volunteers, and events. The place was so comforting and welcoming. They also provide services for after you adopt, so it's all so convenient.

Love that everything you donate goes back into supporting the homeless animals in our community. The store always has a great selection of clothes and other fun stuff. Great for school projects, costumes and the occasional great find! Definitely worth checking in every now and again, merch is always changing!
