The people here were very helpful and thorough. We did get our new cat from them. He has been a great addition to the household and is such a cool dude (if only our older cat would get on board). Please do your research before adopting an animal. We want everyone to get the right pet, and every pet to get a forever home.

Great shelter. I volunteer here and the facilities and staff is amazing. They have great dog behavior lessons for volunteers and even though I’ve been a dog owner for life I feel like I’ve learned so much. Would recommend if you’re looking for a good pup!

My girlfriend volunteers here. It's fantastic. The name stands for No Kill L.A and is run by Best Friends Animal Society. They have several breeds of dogs, including pitbulls, and the staff are wonderful. If you want to support a great animal shelter, please adopt here.

Love this shelter. It's definitely apparent that they take good care of all the animals. They really put a lot of effort into taking nice photos so that the animals really have a better chance at getting adopted. They keep lots of very specific information such as personality, health, and their former living situation. All of the staff is very nice.

This place has a lot of rescue dogs! The facility is impecable and the staff is nice. They have the dogs profile displayed on screens and a cozy hallway, waiting area.
