UPDATE: "Response from owner" is a JOKE. They just want to make it seem like they care- like they tried to make it right. They haven't. They never did. They refused to contact me back until I posted it on google. Oh, and that phone number automatically routes me to some dealer in Texas. At this point there's probably not a thing they could do anyway. We were moving cross country and needed to tow 8500 lbs, but because they lied we could only tow 7500. I already had to get rid of a thousand pounds of my belongings last minute because of them. Those are memories and things I'll never get back.
Potential new customers- I'm serious when I say these people will screw you over- YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
This is the worst dealership in all of New England. They blatantly lied to me about the truck I purchased. I asked over and over again to be sure about the towing capacity of the truck I bought and was repeatedly told it could tow 8500 lbs. This was a flat out lie. And they didn't even tell me that, I called ford and gave the VIN and they told me it was a lie. This truck tows 7500 lbs. After bringing it to their attention, they URGED me to void my warranty!
At one point, the stupid salesman actually put another customer on the phone so HE could tell me how he tows over the warranty weight and it's fine.
Now I've paid over 30k for the wrong truck, and they didn't have the decency to include floor mats.
I emailed every member of management but they, of course, couldn't be bothered to respond or make it right.
And don't think Ford will have your back, either. I called them and ''each dealership is independently owned and operated" so they don't give a damn.
If you use this dealership, they WILL screw you, and you will be totally and completely S.O.L.
I now make a point to tell everyone I know to not only boycott Ford, but that McFarland is a bunch of shifty crooks, and I will scream it at the top of my lungs for the rest of my life.

I have been dealing with McFarland Ford for more than 15 years. They are a great dealership. I hope Ford reconsiders dropping all sedans (except the Mustang) from its line-up of vehicles. I enjoy the Fusion and would like to remain a customer of McFarland when I need a new vehicle.

Came here looking to have ignition lock and hood lock replaced due to wear. Ordered parts ahead of time, made appointment to have them installed, cleared my schedule for the day of my appointment and went in for my appointment as scheduled. I was informed almost an hour and a half afterwards that the wrong parts were ordered and I would need to come back another time to have the correct parts installed.
Ignition lock that was supposed to be replaced this morning failed later in the day rendering the vehicle immobilized and me stranded. Service department would not authorize a tow despite this being completely avoidable in the first place if they simply ordered the correct parts.
1 star for what I believe was a free wiper blade (we'll see if this shows up on the final bill or not), and for offering me a loaner vehicle. My vehicle requires special placarding with the state so a loaner vehicle is of no help to me. Still no tow after explaining this.
Now we have had to arrange and pay for our own tow, arrange my own ride home, wait longer, and clear my schedule again to accommodate them for another appointment through no fault of our own. I understand mistakes happen, but it's all in how you handle, correct, and prevent them going forward. Very disappointed and nothing to accommodate your customer was done.
