Literally the worst, internet and cable go out all the time. I pay for the boost on the internet as well and am lucky if I can stream on 2 devices. But they are pretty much my only option at all. Can't wait for something else to be available.

Well, where do I start? Overall, this is the worst cable company I have ever had. And I did some investigating and found that Fortune magazine has listed Mediacom the worst cable company in the country. (WOW). Constant freezing and pixelization of the picture on your screen. I have had Mediacom for five years, and not once have I been able to send an email. No matter how many times I have called about this, it has never been fixed and they do not seem to care. I can receive email but can not send. I have a laptop and have had 5 tablets, and it is the same on each one. And that wonderful service of having your caller ID show up on your tv screen, nope. Every time I have called about that, it will work on the first call after they do whatever it is they do, and then that is it. No more caller ID. And then I am told this is a free service. Nothing is free with them. Their service is deplorable. I wish I had another choice, but I don't. Unfortunately, it is our only choice.

While service is sometimes an issue, the quality of their service is the best available in our rural area. I am not happy that they demanded $3000 to extend car to my daughter's home less than 2000 feet from my house. Their website shows they service that address. And they will if you pay them $3000 up front. Not quite what they advertise. Obviously my daughter does not have service with them. They have told me they have no plans to upgrade service so that her house would have a standard installation costs. Apparently they have more customers than they can service already in our area but aren't willing to spend the money to expand

I'm giving them a honest 2 stars. I have had them for about 10 months now and I had problems with the equipment and tech support since DAY 1. My install guy said I had to wait 24 hrs before I would get my 200mb internet (I am still waiting). The tech support guys must have on the job training due to the lack of knowledge and they keep referencing everything to a car. I will edit this post after I get a new modem (1 week away) they are sending let hope I get what I am paying for....Fast Internet....We need to give them the boot so comcast can come into the area.

They did everything they said that they would do. The service itself was perfect I barely ever had glitches with my WiFi. Sometimes I would come in and pay my bill and the ladies working behind a desk for always so nice and had great attitudes
