Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wilson

Slept there one night on my drive down to Georgia. For the price, it's a great value. Clean and comfortable room. The experience was great until the shower the next morning--very little water pressure and the bath mat was hiding a frightening amount of rust in the tub. I only discovered this because the mat also wasn't properly affixed to the tub, so when I went to step into the tub, I slid forward with the mat and came crashing down... Other than this, no issues! The provided breakfast included fruit, muffins, waffles, coffee, cocoa. My kids were happy, which of course means I was, too!

The customer service was good. The first room I was given smelled like marijuana so I asked for another room. She gave me another one and that one was much better. However that night someone bumped into my car and left a dent. I don’t know who because she said their cameras are not working and they won’t play back. I felt that was very unsafe.

Room smelled like stale smoke even though was a non smoking room. Carpets dirty and bathroom trim missing bare spots was very visible. Will not be back if we can help it.

Very cozy and the price is right staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here on my next road trip. Don't believe me come find out yourselves.

front desk was very friendly to us and our very anxious puppy. looks like the place was going under renovations. they had quite a few people working on rooms but they weren't that loud. the room was pretty clean. didn't read the reviews until after checking in but as far as I know I did not see any bugs.
