Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh

The hotel is nice. I checked in late. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I forgot to get his name. The beds were super soft and comfortable and the pillows were great also. The worst part of my stay was the man who went down the hallway knocking on every door with his key card well before check out to see if people were staying over or checking out. Even though I had my do not disturb sign on the door. I would think if someone wanted to extend their stay they would tell the front desk not have employees knock on every door waking up people who paid for their stay and are also utilizing a do not disturb sign. Who does that??

Located off of New Bern Ave, this is the highest quality hotel. But if you stay to yourself and you're not a trouble maker, the staff is wonderful, and kind. And the security guard has a great sense of humor. The 3rd floor is smoking but the 1st and 2nd are not.

Stayed here about 3 weeks ago. Horrible. It looked like a prostitution hotel from the company that was around the entire weekend. I was using the bathroom and a roach was crawling up the side of the toilet. I will definitely not be staying here again.

Zero stars!!!!! First of all let me start out by saying Steven at the front desk was very accommodating, but there is only so much you can do with a run down place. The photos below are of the second room, the "better" of the 2 we tried. The first one the horrible caulking job around the tub had a ton mildew and the room smelled horrible. Furniture was very shabby. Too much more wrong to type. The second speaks for itself..Note the pic with the pen, paper and telephone. The phone has some cotton like stuff stuck to it, and the last straw is the ROACH on the paper!!! A baby one at that, so you know there are more where that came from. Stayed at Micro Tel at Buis Creek, NC recently by Campbell University...VERY NICE! This Raleigh area Micro Tel was awful!!!!! Very disappointed......WYNDHAM needs to check up on the places with their name affiliated to them.

Great experience last time I stayed. The breakfast was good and hot. Will stay again.
