Carolina Duke Inn

Stayed here during the afternoon hours a few years ago and during the day, there was no issue. I don't know how it is at night, so I can't speak of that but as far as safety concerns, there was no issue. At the time there was renovations being done on a-lot of the rooms and near one of the stairwells, it was filled with garbage and also smelled of urine. One of the females who checked us in was very "different" I guess the best word was to describe her but the man who was in charge I believe that day was a delight to deal with. Tried taking a shower in the bathroom in our room and the water would not turn on, I guess due to the renovations being done but it would have been nice to have been told this before going to our room. Regardless, I have not been back since then, I am sure things may be different but for a nights stay, its not that bad of a room as the rates are good.

Terrible environment. A large portion of the complex is in disrepair. I have seen better hotels in Baghdad.

Too many drugs and poor housekeeping!! Mold in the rooms.. Housekeeper half cleans and gets mad when you ask her to... I'm praying God gets me out of this situation

They don't have maids come to the room at all and a woman that helps run the place is evil

Lots of prostitution, drugs and people knocking at your door at 4am asking for 1 dollar!! The front desk does not care as long as they are making money...and the police always are in the parking lot
