The room was fair. But... I recommend taking another look around for another stay. As walls are super thin. You can hear everyone around you. Fighting yelling and other things around 3 to 5 am. No one goes to sleep at that motel at night. We stayed because the red roof was booked up completely. I won't be staying there again say the least.
Room was clean but outlets stook out from the wall, the water would not turn off in the tub, TV had lines in it. But at least the TV worked enough we could turn it up to drown out the people making noises through the walls.

I wanted to tell you about my stay at the Greensboro NC Motel 6 ( #4926, confirmation #4926M07241). When arriving, the front of the building looked ok. The lobby was less than stellar but acceptable. The attendant was friendly and set us up with our room quickly. He made a point to tell us that there was security which puzzled me until we went to our room. The facility looked quite run down with some windows being cracked and repaired with duct tape. When we arrived at our room the door was open and the floor was wet (just mopped). The bed was not made and there were no towels. This was because housekeeping was not done yet. The housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient, finishing our room quickly. Now to describe the room. The entrance door to the room appeared to have been kicked in and repaired more than once. It appeared to be somewhat secure. The door to the bathroom looked the same. Both doors were difficult to close, especially the bathroom, which if you got it to close was even harder to open. The light switch for the light over the sink was broken and the light could not be turned off ( I guess you leave the light on for us because you can’t turn it off!). I eventually found one working electrical outlet. This was a non smoking room and did not smell like smoke but there were burn holes in the comforter and bed sheets. Although the room was just cleaned it just looked dirty due to the run down condition. Surprisingly enough the a/c unit worked although looking at it you would not think so. My wife called the front desk asking for a different room and was told there were none available. My wife and I left to attend the function we were in town for. We brought all our belongings as we did not want to leave anything in the room (fearing it would be stolen). After the function we decided we did not want to spend the night in that room and we drove home to Roanoke. I am very surprise that a national hotel chain such as Motel 6 would have their name associated with such a run down facility! This is my first time staying at a Motel 6 and will be my last! Please do something to make the owners of this facility clean it up!
Sincerely,
Greg Ruckman (unhappy Motel 6 customer)

Poor front desk person operates ALONE. Not secure for them. Internet does NOT work. Would not bring my wife here. Not up to her standards. Thankfully I’m a backpacker and feel somewhat at home semi roughing it.
Where the hell is Tom Bodett sleeping tonight. Betting it’s not at a Motel 6. 😊

Within five minutes of entering the room, there was two spiders inthe room. My fiancee call the front desk and the clerk was rude. My fiancee asked to speak with the manager because he would like a refund and was told the manager just left and there was nothing he could do. Around 7am the next morning someone knocked on our door we asked was was it and no one answered. We went to our car to get our stuff and people was outside of their rooms drinking. We felt unsafe, went to the front desk to find out if it was housekeeping or management that knocked on our door and was told no. We had a two night reservation but due to what we encountered felt it was best for us not to stay another night.

Clean room. Towels incredibly small and it took three times asking to get fresh ones. Other than that the stay was fine.
