Baymont by Wyndham Winston Salem

Too many haters! What do you expect for "budget accommodations"?! The room was spacious, microwave, fridge, coffee make, free breakfast, indoor heated pool, newspapers at the front desk, small computer, etc. GREAT price for a great room! No weirdnsmells, everything was clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We're definitely staying here again

Me and my 3 kids stayed here, I must say it's not very kid friendly. I have small ones so they do jump around and like to have fun and that was our purpose for being there but we constantly got disturbed by the staff with complaints of noise, even when we weren't being loud. Not a place for kids even tho it has a pool. The pool was ok. The room was clean. Had a hard time getting extra towels and the lady at the front desk held an attitude but most of the staff were friendly.

As soon as we walked in the front desk lady was not welcoming in any way, she in fact looked annoyed with having to work I guess. Once we get to the 3rd floor it reeked of weed and cigarettes even though it says no smoking. The floor has so many dips in it that it could definitely be a tripping hazard. The room was dirty..cob webs and a few dead ants and June bugs were just left on the floor along with some crumbs ...definitely wasn't vacuumed. The sheets were surprisingly clean but had cigarette holes in them. The pool area was ok...nothing fancy and not heated which was fine. Out of everything, my biggest complaint is the lack of safety. The hallway window was left wide open with no screen ( same as in the room) so if traveling with kids, open window isn't an option ...lawsuit waiting to happen and the horrible floors.

For the price it was ok. Indoor pool was kinda yucky. Bed slept well and water pressure was ok in the shower. Check in staff not overly friendly.

Visited friends staying at this hotel. It appeared clean and safe, although the elevator was out of commission and there did not appear to be any efforts being made to fix it. The stairwell smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel is also pet friendly and has a small indoor pool.
