There's a funky smell as soon as you walk in the front door, which is conveniently located on what would normally be considered the back of the building. There are no signs in the parking lot pointing it out either. The smell could be from the housekeeping staff neglecting to clean the front of the "house" so to speak, and the floor was also dusty and dirty.
I had to wait until exactly 3pm to check-in, which isn't normal to me, but I looked past it. Until I noticed they only have a grade of 93.0 of 100+. So I left to purchase a can of Lysol. When I returned, I was allowed to check in. Considering I came here to get away from it all, I brought food, and didn't plan on leaving my room.
Regarding my stay, and the fact that I didn't want to be disturbed at all, I was surprised that I was not able to locate a "Do Not Disturb" sign anywhere in the grimy magazines or restaurant advertisements provided in the room. Needless to say, when room service came by I had the door latch on, and she knocked entirely too quickly for me to be able to say please do not disturb me. The HVAC unit had dust in it, as did the bathroom fan, and it runs every 4-5 minutes. It seems like there may be an insulation/ventilation issue in the room as well. I found a hair on one of the pillows, and strings of fabric, leading me to think that the sheets may not have been changed, so I sprayed all of it down. The shower had a permanent mat in it, which appeared to be rotting away, so I wasn't able to use the shower, instead choosing to wash up at the sink. When I checked out, I was ready to get back home. But the bed was comfortable. And it was worth the cheap price I paid.

This is a nice hotel in a good, safe area, near lots of restaurants and Bolton park and the mall is right across the street too. The rates are good for the quality. There's an outdoor pool but I've never used it

We usually stay here every time we visit my family. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. But it's a bit dated. And there was even some mold in the bathroom. This will be our last time staying here.

All time worst hotel & customer service experience I have ever encountered.
Besides the hotel being run down with a foul odor throughout the property, crammed rooms and a moldy bathroom which can sometimes be overlooked, we found a dirty spoon with drug residue on it along with a used hypodermic needle under the window bench cushion. There are certain things I can handle, like a small hair in the bathtub, but drugs and used needles are too far gone.
The associate, BRANDY at the front desk is the least professional person I have ever had to communicate with. When confronted with my issue, she seemed so terribly bothered that I was in her presence. Very unwelcoming as she attempted to make me feel like finding a needle and drug spoon wasn’t that big of a deal.
When I approached her at the front desk she was acting in a very inappropriate manner with another, what I assumed to be, male hotel guest. Her attire was rather revealing as she laid her chest on the countertop. I guess she may have been upset that I interrupted her flirting session.
Additionally, there was a lot of foot and car traffic in and out of the hotel. I stayed on the first floor, near a side entrance and had the unfortunate privilege of hearing cars pull in and out throughout the evening and night as well as many people (assumed to be, non-guests) entering the UNLOCKED side entrance to come and potentially buy drugs.

Not really sure what I was expecting ... stayed for 1 night and that was definitely enough. Place just kind of was gross and run down. Looks outdated and wasnt super clean. The walls are also very thin so we could hear the people next door yelling all night
Probably wouldn't stay again, I'd feel more comfortable paying a little more for better amenities and cleanliness.
