friendly staff, very clean, and even though they having smoking rooms, the lobby and hallways smelled very clean and fresh. the location is quiet and close to downtown Charlotte and shopping. The air conditioner worked too good (I was cold😊, my husband loved it) the pool looked clean. the parking lot was well lit and also clean. a little sparse on convenient outlets. overall it was really nice. very good place to stay.

This was a nice hotel.. the rooms were really nice and clean and the hotel was clean.. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they were there when you needed them or had a question which I felt was great... And when I need more towels and an extra blanket they were quick to accommodate my needs... I also liked that the hotel was located near many different places to eat and gas was close by so that get gas for my drive home was easy... What a great convenience...I also loved the fact that this hotel allowed pet and I was able to bring my pet baby along with me on my trip... Made my trip all the more enjoyable... Thanks Microtel

We stayed for three nights in a double queen bed room. It was spacious, and the bathroom was pretty large. There was also a mini-fridge, a microwave, a large closet, and a "day bed" in the windowsill for extra sleeping space if needed. Those are probably the only good things about this hotel. The hotel staff, especially during the night shift, at the front desk seems to not know how to do their job. We arrived around 10:30 pm our first night and had to wait for 20 minutes to be let in for service, even after calling beforehand to let them know we would be checking in around this time. We asked if our room was available for another night to extend our stay, and the person working said that he didn't know and that he wouldn't be able to find out. He told us to come back at 8 am in the morning when someone else was working. The breakfast selection was poor; just some cereal and muffins. We decided to just walk to Waffle House instead. The internet also kept going in and out and was very slow.

My family and I was greeted with great customer service by the front desk clerk Ms Kesha who made us feel so welcomed and gave us great information. She gave us great rates and her hospitality was through the roof. The location is great with resturants, gas stations, and grocery stores in walking distance. I wound recommend anyone to stay here at Microtel Inn & Suites👍👍👍

We had a two bed smoking room during our one night stay. Things were mostly together; however, the small details weren't given care when cleaning behind previous guests. The bathroom toilet was pretty obviously not cleaned very well (if at all), and there were bits of dirt in the corners, along with bits of hair that hadn't been cleaned up. The carpeted floor was also pretty dirty, perhaps vacuumed with a vacuum that wasn't working so well...All in all, it was bearable to stay here; however, if you've got to, bring along your own cleaning supplies!
