Baymont by Wyndham Eden

I stayed one night at this hotel for business purposes. The staff (female at the desk) was very nice and polite. The check in was quick. I’m assuming this hotel has been at this location for a while, but if this is true, it has been updated and there was no evidence of being an older hotel. Very clean, absolutely quite at night. I had to get up the next morning at 3:30 am so I needed to get to bed early. Conveniently located near restaurants that you can walk to. And a Walmart located behind the hotel. No complaints and I am very picky where I stay. I highly recommend.

I don't know where some of these negative reviews come from. They didn't go to the same Hotel I did! Our room was extremely clean the beds were pretty comfortable for a hotel, the front staff was extremely friendly (even the night shift!). Nicole at the front desk how to be one of the friendliest front desk people I worked with in quite a while (I don't think I saw her once in a lifetime without a big smile on her face!!). Since it's only an hour and change from where we live we already decided that this is now going to be on new get away for a weekend away from home! Anybody going to Eden needs to stay at this hotel! :-)

Nicole is the best front desk receptionist ever! The breakfast needs to be a lot better though. Not her fault. Pool was good and service was great.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND WANT TO ENJOY THE POOL.We have stayed here before and had a good experience but front desk worker Wendy made sure to ruin this one. we Booked this hotel for the pool (we have 2 children). Wendy was hanging out with her friends at the pool (in uniform) when we arrived. when her friends left (clearly not guests at the hotel) Wendy locked the pool and claimed it was for the rain outside. Its 90 degrees with a clear blue sky ... sounds like Wendy isn’t doing her job appropriately. When I asked to speak with the manager that Wendy said told her to lock the pool, she “wasn’t available” and in Wendy’s words “none of her managers will answer the phone”. This hotel will never get our money again if they can’t hire professional staff and we are frequent hotel stayers. Think again before booking here. VERY unprofessional!
