TV did not work without help from office - even then, did not work as it should. . Counter looks good except for sloppy paint job. Paint job generally poor, with little masking, and removing hardware. Shower is extremely difficult to adjust-not safe!. Shower needs a proper soap holder, not a toothbrush holder, so the soap doesn't get soggy. Bathroom floor shows construction debris, and needs cleaned better. Bed was fine - once I climbed into it - needs a ladder! Floor looks very good, and indicates improvements are in process. It (the floor) does need to be cleaned right up to the wall, as dust, etc. does collect there.
Most Motel 6's I am familiar with are much better, and would rate better grades.

Nice hotel. Good Location. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms were very neat and clean. The whole staff was very friendly. Nice hotel for a decent price. I will surely stay here again and will recommend this to my friends as well.

Being from Durham, I know this hotel and it’s basically a drug filled, hookers and pan handlers refuge. If for some reason you have to stay here, keep all valuables secure and hidden out of sight, don’t give anyone any money, don’t let anyone in your room. Stay with caution, can be sketchy, dangerous spot. Try the Days Inn BEHIND this motel, an upgrade a lot safer but still “ budget” accommodations. To be honest I think the good reviews are fabricated as the same reviewer have reviewed and left same remarks at other less than stellar motels in Durham

The hotel is comfortably located on hillsborough road with a lot of eating joints around and a Kroger just across the street. The rooms are clean and the front desk is very accommodating. I did not face any problems during my stay here.

I was driving late into the night and needed a place to sleep. I stopped at a Holiday Inn Express, but there was no staff to be found, so I found this Motel 6. I was told my room would cost 39 dollars.
I got to the room, and the TV didn't work. The light in the bathroom was out. I decided to just go to sleep. Got into the bed, and lo and behold, the box spring was in disrepair. Loud, screeching metal every time I shifted in the bed.
Once I got comfortable and laid still, the yelling started. Drunk day laborers right outside my door, just yelling at each other. This went on for an hour. I must have dozed off for about 2 hours before more yelling woke me up. So I got my stuff together and left.
I was charged 70 dollars for this "experience", and I will be calling corporate and getting that ridiculous price refunded. I am not spending 70 dollars on two hours of poor sleep on a broken bed.
