I filled out the online form and scheduled an appointment to get 2 new tires, they had a nice selection for my make and model online at good prices. I do my research an pick out the tires I want and add an oil change to the quote and choose a time. Feeling good about doing all the prep work online. I get to the shop and they say they don't really do online appointments. So we start over. Counter guys asks if I need tires? I tell them I have the one flat tire in the back of my car and the other rear tire needs to be replaced. He gives me a quote, seems cheap, and I ask if that is for the replacements? Counter guy says "oh I thought you said you had the tires in the car?"
I ask about the tires I ordered on the appointment, and the counter representative says they only have one kind that would fit my car model, and they cost $45 more than the online quote form. What a waste of time, I went somewhere else and got a better selection and better price. Really disappointed.

I have gone to this Midas for oil changes several times. They often suggest minor maintenance on my car (air filters, battery change), but nothing major.
HOWEVER, last week I went in for a routine oil change. After waiting almost 2 hours (at the beginning of the day, and with an appointment), the mechanic informed me that I needed new control arms and new struts, totaling around $2000. This surprised me, since my car is low mileage and in pretty good shape. I asked the guy how urgent it was, since I don't have the money to pay for it. He told me that the repairs should be done ASAP and that it was risky to be driving the car, and offered to put me on a payment plan.
I took the car to the dealership for an inspection and second opinion. They had two mechanics look at the car, including paying special attention to the parts Midas recommended replacing, and found NOTHING wrong with my car at all. Midas COMPLETELY fabricated the problems and tried to prey on my fears. I am livid-- this seems like a clear case of taking advantage of a young woman alone. I will never return to this company or this location, and urge others to avoid them as well. I consider them to be complete swindlers. Very disappointed.

I have had no problems going here in the past but my last visit was not a quality one. They told me it would be 1.5 to two hours to fix everything which I was fine with. Then three hours later I asked if they had an approximation on when it would be finished they said twenty minutes. Almost an hour later I finally had my car. My appointment was at 9 am and I didn't get out of there until 3 pm. The quality of work was fine but for what I paid I would expect a little better communication and customer service. If they ran into problems that were causing it to take longer all I ask is to just communicate that and don't let someone sitting there longer then expected with no explanation. They also messed up the billing which had to be rectified as well. I will probably not be going back after this experience.

I popped a tire on my way from MA heading back to my school. Shane and Chris were VERY helpful in helping check my tire and even replace it. I would definitely recommend this shop to my friends and family if they are ever in a tight bind!

I’ve been to several Midas locations and this one was the best by far! Everyone was courteous and they didn’t take all day.
