Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I drive in for an oil change and they tried to convince me that I needed to replace my air filters due to power steering leaking into them. First just because I am a female DO NOT assume 1. that I don't know where power steering fluid would leak from 2. that I'm stupid enough to fall for $120.00 charge even after I just had them replaced at another shop. Now three different boys said that it was power steering fluid in the box that my filter sat in.. I won't be taking my car back to them for the fact not 1 BUT 3 of them were trying to get over on a female!! BEWARE they are out to scam you for extra money.. BTW I took it that same day to where I had my filter replace and they said they were trying to rip me off.. So Mike dont be lying to make a sale.

Would have been 4 stars but their air conditioning machine to recharge my system was down. If they weren't so pricey I would give 5.

I had a transmission fluid flush & fill done. Shortly after leaving, my car kept slipping out of gear (which was not happening before the service). When I got home, I called the Middletown location and was told that they'd done everything appropriate on their end and they could top the fluid off. Not satisfied with that offer, the following day I went to the New Castle location (which is closer to my work) and they offered to redo the service. While doing so, they had me start and shut off my engine at various times, as directed by the machine, as well as shifting through the gears, which was not done at the Middletown location. My car is working fine now, thanks to the New Castle location and I no longer have any confidence in the Middletown location, due to their very sloppy work, inattention to detail and lack of customer service. I would need to decide if I will ever return to Valvoline - if I do, it certainly won't be to the Middletown location.
