Day 49 no deposit returned. Unprofessional crooks that will do what they can to rip you off

Very displeased with MKB Realty. Scheduled to see a listing, but no one showed up at the agreed-upon time. I could not get in contact with a realtor, but was finally able to get in touch with someone at the office after a lot of effort. After 45 minutes, a realtor finally called me claiming she had messaged me to cancel the night before because she didn't have a car. I had no messages in any of my inboxes and no voicemails. Furthermore, the apartment had already been rented out and the person I had spoken to at the office had straight-up lied to me. Incredibly unprofessional and untruthful... will be avoiding any properties listed by them in the future.

Our experience with MKB has been extremely disheartening. They will use anything they can to make sure they have the upper-hand. Today is day 47, and we still have no received our security deposit. We were informed that it was "promptly mailed on day 45" which seems like an oxymoron of some sort. Today is day 47 and we have yet to receive any money they owe us. Our experience with Kristen and Cindy has been very uncomfortable. Buy a house before you rent from MKB Property Management!

Day 56 past our move out date and have not received any word on our deposit refund. We have emailed twice asking for status and gotten nothing. Incredibly unprofessional people in the office.

Several months ago,I placed a contract on property in Roanoke contingent upon the sale of my home. Chan Bolling of MKB made several visits to my home in Boon's Mill as my buyers agent making sure the contract was executed according to my wishes. The contract expired before my home sold and Chan had it reinstated with my original terms. Within a few days I Got some bad news concerning my health and called Chan and told him I was physically unable to move and could not purchase the property. I did not expect to see my deposit again since I had just recently renewed the contract. Thanks to Chan's hard work and the kindness of the property owners, Chan showed up at my house this morning with a check payable for the full amount of my refund. Chains a first class realtor and MKB is a great agency. Ross Garland
