Let me get straight to the point: if you are a home owner don't get involved with Mr. Wheatley because My wife showed him our house that we wanted to rent. We showed him all the "Cosmetic" issues that needed to be fixed. In addition to that, we also communicated our plan to hire a contractor to fix these deficieies. Immediately after that, Mr. Wheatley agreed to manage our property. 2 days later, I called Mr. Wheatley concerning some questions about the contract. 2 days passed and he sent my wife a text, not a courtesy call, telling us he no longer want to manage our property. So, I call Mr. Wheatley asking him why he changed his mind dispite seeing the property a couple of days earlier. His excuse was the "Cosmetic" damage he intitially seen. But, what really happened was he changed his mind to do business with us because I asked him a simple question about managing our property. Apparently, he took ofense to my question in which I had every right to ask. I just won't let any one mange our house especially if my wife and I will be living in another state. As a Military officer with a family, I can't run back and forth to VA managing our property. But this is the thanks we get by Mr. Wheatley's unprofessional actions to leave a military family high-and-dry to get someone last minute to manage our property. To all Military personal and family memebers, don't do business with this guy because he will leave you high-and-dry just as he did to us.
