Motel 6 Frederick MD - Fort Detrick

I love fact that there is no extra pet fee, but there are several downsides to this property. 1. No microwave in room 2. No mini fridge in room 3. Ice machines hardly ever have ice 4. The elevator doesn't work between 12am-5am. The crazy part us you offer a weekly rate but without the necessities. This should be corrected.

Price wasn't too bad. Rooms are good size and clean. VERY frustrating that housekeeping speak NO English so not able to communicate our wants for room service. If you work in the US SPEAK ENGLISH! Also NEVER had coffee ready in the mornings. They are very accommodating with dogs.

Great price with extras charged as extras (wifi, etc). I prefer this model because in general I think we get rooms cheaper. Apparently all the rooms have been renovated, and they had new hard flooring which seemed cleaner / more easily trusted.

The rooms are nice but you can some times come across some shady behavior. The employees are ok although there not all on the same page. One employee will say one thing and the next will say another. Decent prices.

My wife and I just booked a room Friday May 18th-Saturday May 19. The room was absolutely disgusting. The soap dish in the shower was filthy, something dripped down the front of the sink where the bottle opener was. The entire floor was sticky, we had to wear flip flops the whole time we were in the room. The lobby was flooded and smelled awful. There was a dog next to us in room 210 that barked the entire time that he was alone. This is absolutely, hands down the worst room I have ever stayed in.
