Motel 6 LA Crosse WI

First things first...it's a Motel 6. So you have to understand that this is a no frills, no amenities place to have a bed. The room was decent, a bit old but still fine for the night. The area was decent, but it's close to alot of places so that was nice. Hotel staff was nice on check in and check out. Wouldn't be my first choice, or maybe even second, but for what you pay, it is just fine

Clean, well-kept up in the parts that I saw at least. Love that Motel 6 is pet friendly and still cheap. Tip those housekeepers though, especially if you bring a pet, they deserve it for the extra work involved and cleaning up after your (hopefully well-behaved) pet sheds.

This was a last minute booking for a conference trip. Very good value option but i would not recommend. Each of the three nights of my stay I went to my room only to find that my key cards didn't open my door. So I would have to walk to the opposite side of the building to the front desk and back. Every time. It would be nice to have an iron/board in these rooms as well. Or even a 'do not disturb' in case you don't need housekeeping

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. All the people we dealt with were very nice and wanted to help anyway they could. Will definitely stay there again!

I paid $100 per night on a weekend when everything in town was sold out, but I've seen ads for other nights at $40/night. At that price it's worth considering if you really can't spend more. It's not horrible, but there are many nicer places in town and staying at this Motel 6 was a bit depressing.
