I had to write to express my frustration working with NH Neurospine Institute. My son, 15, saw Dr Ahn. After our initial meeting I was uncomfortable with the restrictions put on him after a quick discussion and an x-ray and we wouldn’t be seen again until June 19th. So we were to start PT, but couldn’t get an appointment for weeks and he was to be on restrictions until June 19th . I called after I thought about the experience, let triage know my concerns and requested he have an MRI sooner than our check in in June. Dr Ahn agreed and the office was supposed to reach out to get insurance authorization. Roughly a week later, I hadn’t heard anything, I called and left a message to get the status. I got a call back to ask where I wanted it done, I said the Elliot and the woman indicated she was going to call me anyway because they didn’t think he would fit in your machine. A week later still hadn’t heard anything, I called again, left a message. Got a call back and the woman indicated she just sent the orders over to the Elliot…so 2 weeks went by, no contact with my insurance and a week delay sending the order to the Elliot. We had the MRI done 4/26/18, we have had no call from the office to discuss. In the meantime, due to my frustration, I reached out and began working with another doctor for a second opinion. I can’t believe no one has called me to discuss, not knowing we moved forward with someone else OR even still just to indicate the MRI results the doctor requested were in. Clearly we will not be moving forward working with this office. In the meantime, my son was restricted for weeks from gym, lacrosse and missed out on a 3 day event with his school, very disappointing.

Doctor Uri M. Ahn, MD Orthopaedic/Spine Surgeon from New Hampshire Neurospine Institute Medical clinic is not very nice person. An if you say something in the form of complaining. He will refuse to help you and tell you he's done. Go somewhere else. His staff from the front desk to the nurses are the same, They have attitudes even when they make mistakes. An they give you an attitude that if you don't like it .TO BAD !!! I had to many problem to list but here's just one of many . I showed up 15 minutes early. The check in person was orientating a new person. She left me standing for 17 minutes. There was five more people that walked in behind me. We then was checked in. Everyone went back in a room but me.I sat there in pain for an hour. When I asked the nurse why. She said you was late and they gave my spot to someone else. I was checked in 2 minutes late and it was because of the woman at the front desk not doing there job. When I said something to the nurse she gave me a BAD attitude. The doctor also gave me a attitude a weeks later. So I see where they get it from. All this place care about is getting paid. They don't care about you . Beware !!!

Highly recommend New Hampshire Neurospine . I have been going here for about 4 years and the Dr’s and staff are awesome !!! Here almost everything can be done X-rays , mri, injections , pt , pain management , consult with surgeon ... it just makes everything easier when you are not feeling the greatest or even when you have made a step forward and it is recognized . Dr Batlivala and Dr Ahn are amazing . I trust their recommendations and opinions .
I had a problem with my HR wanting my return to work note written a certain way . It was so frustrating to me and I know everybody at the front desk probably knew my name due to having to continually ask for my note to be changed because it wasn’t how HR wanted it . It was dealt with very professionally by all the staff and it was so very much appreciated !!! Special thanks to Emily and Dr B for dealing with us difficult clients :)

I'm assuming by reading these comments that I shouldn't bother following up with my referral to the pain management office in Bedford, seeing how I am on Medicare and Medicaid I'll probably be labeled as a bad patient and not worth the hassle of pre authorizations , we are running out of options as disabled people in pain ,...very few doctors are willing to take the steps necessary to treat pain , if you are a doctor that treats pain you need to listen up ,and start protecting your patients and stop abandoning us
