Outback Steakhouse

My boyfriend and I got a couple of gift cards for outback for Christmas, so we decided to give them a try, even though I had a bad experience the last time I went to an outback steakhouse (not at the location I am currently reviewing though). The place was packed, but we didn't have much of a wait, only 25 minutes to be seated on the Saturday before new years. Our server, Harrison, was wonderful. The owner of the restaurant even stopped by our table after we got our check to ask us how the service was. The food was great. We shared a blooming onion appetizer, which was perfectly crispy and had a delicious dipping sauce. I had the Alice Springs chicken with coconut shrimp, which was delicious. I would highly recommend it. My boyfriend had an 18 oz. Sirloin which was cooked to a perfect medium. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit!

I am extremely satisfied with the level of customer service in this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was sweet. Our server, Shannon, was exceptionally friendly. Very professional and she smiled. She spoke with excitement. And the General Manager, Tom came around each table and asked how was the meal, was everything okay. I am very very pleased to write this review. I will most definitely come back with my family. I am hard to please especially when it comes to great service and positive attitudes. The vibe was positive from the moment we walked in the door. Thank you to the staff of Outback Steakhouse!!!!!

Decent food.VERY crowded on night we went. Prices are as advertised, including specials. For my second time, the sirloin steak was tougher than expected. If I want a steak at this pricing level, I will get mine at Texas Roadhouse. Theirs are tendered and more flavorful (without any special rub or sauce). Outback pork chops and chicken are great.

We were told there'd be a 20 to 30 minute wait but we're seated within 5 minutes, before we could even grab a drink at the bar. The service was absolutely spectacular. We didn't feel we were even waiting for our food very long buy the owner came and apologized for the wait and even bought me a drink (thanks Brad!). The food was spectacular and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back again soon!

My husband and I hadn't been to Outback in a year and decided to try it on our Valentine's date night. The service was nice and the food was okay but it seemed as though our food was being thrown at us. We received our appetizer and salad at the same time and were only given a few minutes to eat both before our steaks arrived. I put my steak aside so I could eat our cheese fries and salad and enjoy some time with my husband and by the time we got to our steaks they were freezing cold. I decided to give them another chance about 2 weeks ago when my husband took me out for my birthday and we ordered the same thing and the same thing happened again. Besides things being way too rushed my steak was raw and our dessert was cold and not hot like the menu said it would be. We will not go here again. Texas Roadhouse is cheaper and the food is better. When we go out we want to take our time and enjoy a meal alone.
