Rare Steakhouse

Nice atmosphere and a good location. The staff was friendly and efficient. The steaks were sub par and they couldn't seem to cook a steak rare. There was no effort made to correct the situation except "we will do better next time you are here" . What makes them think I would ever come back? They need to step it their game or they won't be around much longer.

I honestly shouldn’t have high expectations for downtown dining week, but the place wasn’t even busy. I honestly feel like they profiled us and because we weren’t a rich white person they lacked their service. Food was decent but the bartender was horrible. Never refilled our drinks. Took forever for us to get our food. Honestly I’m just disappointed. Definitely sticking to Carnevor. Where they don’t lack costumer service skills.

We visited Rare for lunch during the week. I had the tenderloin special that they were offering and it was very good. The side salad was also very well prepared. The dining room had a very nice ambiance and our server was very professional and did an excellent job. The prices were a bit to high compared what I'm used to, but it is very good food.

The service was excellent, from start to finish everyone was extremely polite, professional and helpful. The steaks were delicious, cooked precisely as ordered and the sides were unique and perfectly balanced in flavor and portion size. Overall a wonderful dining experience.

The wait staff and service was great. We were there on a Tuesday during Spring Break so it was not very busy at all. The Steaks we got we excellent as were the drinks.
