Finally getting around to this -- I believe it was a semi-busy Thursday... The kid had the wings, "the bread" x 2, and a water, and I had the best meal I've had since Christmas: Double Chivas on the rocks with Caesar salad. Steak and lobster with mushrooms, baked potato (just sour cream, chives, and butter) with a big Fosters from the tap. Irish coffee for dessert. In and out in an hour and home before completely dark. Waitress and staff were great and attentive; I'll be trading the mushrooms for shrimp skewers next week as I've been craving it all again for days -- see you then !
P.S. This is the only place that serves a decent, properly prepared lobster.

I would have given 5 stars the food was good but our service was kinda slow and they kept messing up out or order. I normally don't mind but we had to wait 10 minutes for ketchup and area I sauce. It just seems like we were unusable. They were not listening to what we asked for. We went for a friends birthday and I just feel she would have been happier somewhere where they actually cared it was her special day. So in giving the service a thumbs down. If you want to celebrate a birthday go somewhere where they sing to you and at least are upbeat about you spending your time at their establishment.

Service was very good, but everything else was just OK. First off, the food here really isn't that special. Steaks here are more expensive than at Texas Roadhouse, and they really aren't comparable. While at Texas Roadhouse, their steaks are thick but soft, and grilled perfectly. Here at Outback, the steaks were priced more per ounce, but were smaller and chewier. The Bloomin Onion was just OK. Honestly, after leaving here I just thought of how much better the competition down the street is (Texas Roadhouse). Two of the food advantages here over Texas Roadhouse are: 1) their serving size for their mashed potatoes was bigger than at Texas Roadhouse, which is appreciated, and 2) their free bread that you receive while waiting for your food is much better than those sweet rolls at Texas Roadhouse, IMO.
The interior is very dated in this location; both cushions in our booth had tears/holes in them, the clear wax / laminate finish was peeling on half of the table, and the bathrooms reminded me of a 1990s truck stop.
This place is a light 3 on my scale, if it wasn't for the excellent service here by our waitress I'd probably give this a 2. The food really was disappointing, especially for the price they're asking. If you asked me to pick between Outback & Texas Roadhouse, I'd pick Texas Roadhouse all day long.

The steak salad looked nothing like advertised. Four 3/4 inch strips of fatty meat. Flavor good but meager amount of meat.
