This place is beautiful. Waterfalls and small bridges. I took my 11 and 14 year old girls for a very relaxing and peaceful walk in the trails. We climbed and took turns holding he baby. Great for all ages. Definitely a great place for nature pictures. We will be going back with a picnic lunch. Parking was great. Don’t bring a stroller if you have a baby, bring a chest/back carrier.

What a gorgeous place! I was fortunate enough to go on a day when there were few others. Often I felt like I had the whole park to myself! The air was clean but carried a dreamy haze and tasted sweet. I went hiking deep into the forest, far enough to come as close to complete silence as I'd ever been. The sensation was exhilarating and unnerving all at once. I'm definitely making plans to bring the family!

Just moved to Baltimore county about 15mins away from Ellicott City. I was living in Annapolis prior with my aunt. Big jump in as far as living is concerned. This state park however def is a good escape that's as close to Annapolis water as I can get right now lol it's a good place for my pit bull walk on trails and get that put of her system and a good trail fro my fiance to walk his back issues off. For myself the trails are just scenic enough to keep you entertained. Great park just a little dirty in parts but hey it's balmitore it's beautiful in It a own.
