Great place to be, weekdays are much better than weekends. Hike, bike, fish or just have a cookout. Take a couple trash bags with you and leave no trace. Beautiful place very close to Baltimore.

Great place to hike near Baltimore. We went with full backpacks to practice for the Appalachian trail hike and did a six mile loop. Nice scenery and lots of terrain change to really work the legs.

Raced in the Sugar Hill mountain bike race here on April 9th. Lots of great hiking and mountain biking trails. Open areas for picnics and pavilions as well. Easy access from the beltway.

Nice area, but DONT PARK HERE TO GET TO THE WATERFALL. Keep driving past the yellow gate (about two miles)

I assume it was ok. I had planned to run on one of their trails in the morning. However, when I arrived at the entrance, there was a formidable gate that said the park opened at 9 am. I managed to find an alternate running trail on the bike path that runs most of the way around Baltimore Washington international airport.
