This campground is set in a lush forest VA, and the sites have electric, but there is only one bath house and one dump station and one fresh water tap for all of the sites. Unfortunately when I arrived, this Memorial weekend, the sewer system was down, and that meant no showers and no dump station and no toilet. They brought in port-a-potties, and it was eventually repaired Sunday afternoon. They had the best deal on wood that I have seen in a campground: $5 for all that you can fit in a big plastic bin.

Attended an outdoor graduation party at this place and it was certainly a cool place to chill and unwind. I especially loved the touch of nature and serenity, with sufficient space catering to both the needs of grown folks and children. It is certainly an amazing chill spot for the family during the summer months.

Absolutely beautiful views, trails are amazing and fun. I love coming here with my friends and exploring the woods. Climbing on the rocks and bridges are fun. would not recommend crossing the river in the winter because I'm currently freezing. Great experiences though.

If you like hiking, biking, or even horse riding this is a fantastic part. It's huge and has several entrances, each one having something different to see. There are playgrounds at a lot of the locations and diverse enough set of trails that you can hike for a half hour or all day.
