Very nice park and beach. Restrooms should be open during the week too, however. Perfect for kids.

Nice park in the off season. Clean and lots to do. Several playgrounds, trails, and the beach. Between memorial and labor day it does get very crowded and the price increases a lot.

Nice place to have a cookout in the summer. They have plenty of picnic tables and grills. The beach is not the cleanest but if you are looking for a local beach, go for it. There is also a playground for the kids.

Will never go after friends and family told me they charge $10 per person. I've been once during off season a few years back and no one was there to charge you $10. The po arks are supposed to he free admission hence the reason why it is a state park. Guess the government is greedy.......

Big place, i went early spring with temperature in the upper 70s so the place was not yet over crowded coz not everyone consider swimming at these temperatures. The beach has some black sand, wood debris and i also found broken glass (which i removed so it won't hurt anyone, it was a piece from a broken bottle) while i was walking at the edge of the water. So becareful considering swimming there
