Nice setting. If you want to fish for catfish that may be all you catch here. Great towns in the area w shopping and dining. The park would not bend rules for my late check in. Reserved and paid for a cabin months before my arrival. Had a death in the family, funeral, and a 5 hour drive to get there. Called from the road that we were really trying but we may not make it. Can you give me a code for the gate? Nope you can sleep in the parking lot if you don't make it. Really?

Really cool and well kept park for the most part. There were some big potholes on the way into the parking lot that need some attention though. The trails are kept up really well and the views are awesome. Worth the trip to explore and exercise.

Just spent the weekend camping at Elk Neck State Park. The park is beautiful and is only a little over an hour from Philly. Maybe it's the spring season, but we experienced a large number of ticks crawling on us throughout the weekend. Be safe and always check yourself for ticks.

We went here for a cub scout camping trip. We had a great time. Our camp site was nice and big. It was right on the water too!

Awesome park, quiet. Fishing is great has a nice boat launch. Campground is nice. Bring supplies with you town is a good drive away.
