Tuckahoe State Park

I visited this park multiple times with the scouts and my family with small children. Fishing, canoeing (and other rentals like bikes), and playgrounds makes this a great camp ground. They have a sweet zip line that is available on regular days or by request for a fee. A star was removed for their stockpile of wet wood which they require you to use for camp fires. As nothing can be more frustrating than trying to lite wet wood, I recommend ignoring this rule until they figure out how to keep their wood shed dry. Besides that, a beautiful and great park!

We love the campground. Choose either electric or traditional camping. They have frisbee golf..18 holes, great course. The small Creek behind the non electric loop is perfect to throw the kayak in and paddle to the lake. They have a small playground for children and the lake has another one. Talk about spoiled, the bath houses have lots of hot water. Although I prefer to wait till I am home to shower. Camping is supposed to be dirty.

Very relaxing. Not crowded at all. Good views and lots of areas for picnicking and camping.

Plenty of mountain biking, walking, horseback riding trails. Beautiful Meadows and interactive areas for kids. There is a playground and a tire Park for the kids as well. Or you can rent canoes and paddle around the water.

Great place for the family. Grills, picnic tables, nice playground, trails, canoes & many other ways to enjoy the outdoors. Well kept & clean. We all had a great time.
