Petco Animal Supplies

Great place to buy supplies; however, horrible place for pet grooming services. Cashiers very nice and helpful. I personally think the pet grooming staff do not enjoy their jobs. So sad. Three years ago the pet grooming staff was outstanding. I too experienced the cancellations of appointments. Then I was told someone would call me to reschedule another appointment. No one ever called. Finally, after going throughout this for six weeks, I took my dog to a private pet grooming company. My advice is just go somewhere else.

Four days ago I made a reservation to groom and bathe my dog before we went on vacation. I got there at the appointed time and they told me that the groomer had decided to go home and gee we are sorry about that, and then told me I could drive to their Ashville store and maybe get lucky there. Never called, never said sorry, we leave for vacation tomorrow. I in the past have purchased all the needs for my animals from Petco, I will never do that again. I will never set foot inside a Petco store again. Employees did not care about this, bad bad customer service. I am going to encourage all the people I know at various animal groups to take their business somewhere else. These people do not car!! I will find and post a Pet Store that actually cares about its customers, I would avoid this store at all costs! I am.

It's a typical large pet store. We go mainly for stuff we need that we can't get quick enough by ordering from petco on the web. The deals are better on the web than in the store and shipping is free and good. But we also purchase live tropical fish here. Sometimes the service is sort of ok and other times it's bad. This time we hung around for a few minutes waiting for help and it didn't show up so we took off. The people are nice but I can only take so much of this poor service. The store is average compared to other Petco stores and it generally has what we need.

Very helpful staff, great selection of healthy pet foods, grooming onsite, Vetco there for shots etc., call or visit site to see when! Took my long haired Chihuahua to groomer and she did a wonderful job my baby's hair was shining and silky, smelled wonderful... highly recommend it!!!

The inexperienced groomer made an open gash on my dog's stomach. He careful!
