It smelled really bad; the store was very congested with little to no organization. Pet visiting rooms were dirty several had pee on floor an had not been cleaned or sanitized property. Several hand sanitizing stations were empty. Employees didn't not have any background on the animals. Internet was down in the store so employees were using their phones to research information on the dogs. All in all the staff needs to be properly trained and the store needs a good deep cleaning.

Great service. Although the store can be busy at times I was helped by multiple staff. Great selection of puppies and supplies. My dog wash freshly washed and groomed prior to leaving with him. Although the price of the puppies can be higher then other places I feel like it’s still the most bang for the buck.

I think it is absolutely hilarious that close minded, ignorant people think our puppies at Petland come from puppy Mills. To clear the air, no, they come from USDA licensed breeders. Our amazing and generous owner Monte, visits every breeder, he doesn't trust anyone and his standards are set very high. It's a petstore so it's obviously not going to smell like a cookie factory. It's really aggravating when everyone at Petland Rome and Petland Dalton put in so much effort to make the store as perfect as we can, and people still bash everything we do. Our job is not all that easy, so yes sometimes we make mistakes, but until you're perfect, don't judge us for our imperfections. A lot has changed in the past year and everything is getting better, but the negativity is pointless. Until you have worked there and know what you're talking about, the opinions are well just opinions. Yes, we value every customer and I absolutely love my job, other than the animals, my favorite part is building relationships with people that come in. And yes, sometimes when people come in we may not get to you right away, but it is usually always busy and I can't stop what I'm doing for one customer to help every person, but in the end, every customer matters. Not everyone has had a great experience at Petland, and I completely understand if you don't like how things are done, but it is not every employees fault. We do everything we can to meet customers standards, but like I said, we're not perfect.

just finished shopping at Pet land in Rome. I was helped by Jennifer who was awesome !! She was quick to help and really tried to help us with a concern we had with our dogs! polite , kind and truly interested in what I had to say!

Got this sweet beagle puppy today! They have a very knowledgeable, friendly staff that helped us through the financial opinions and explained all that goes along with the "puppy package" and the guarantee that comes with the plan.
