This is my favorite restaurant in Tahoe for a few reasons. First my family has celebrated special occasion there since I was a kid, and it brings back memories Every time I go there. It's a classic old Tahoe restaurant with charm and character. The main reason I love this place is because they actually feed you real portions. If your sick of overpriced meals with kid size portions, then go to the pfeifer house. Steaks and schnitzel are always consistent and the best in Tahoe. This place rules

Great authentic food and dining experience. The server was wonderful along the atmosphere and the strudel is to die for, well worth the price!!!

First time there! Nice quaint spot in the midst of the buzz of Tahoe. Really enjoyed it with my friends.

Decent German food very close to Squaw Valley. The meat dishes were all delicious. Loved the cozy feel of the restaurant.
