Himmel Haus

It has old world style but still being in the present. It's service is 5 stars! Their attendance to the customer is first class seamless without the hovering around you. It's a must see destination for all.

Visited on 2/28/2018. Awesome lager/ European beer selection, which is a breath of fresh air in the midst of all the craft brew spots lining the lake. The bartender was great too and incredibly personable along with the rest of the staff. especially loved the 3 mustard selection when you order. If you're a true "beer-nerd" this place is a must after hitting the slopes.

German food and beer in a cozy beer hall atmosphere. Feels very European! Being my first time having Schnitzel, it was very unexciting. I'm not sure if that is par for the course though, as it was my first one. The braut sampler however was great as was the pretzel. The second time we were there the waitress was having quite a difficult time getting our orders right. They also seemed very flustered getting us a table for 8 when the large dining room had only 3 other occupied tables, which I thought was strange. The first night there were no problems. So I guess service is variable. Overall I would say check it out for the novelty, but you probably won't become a regular.

Really loved this place. We stayed at Tahoe Seasons Resort, so Haus is the only restaurant around. We really enjoyed the food and the drinks, to the extent that we came here twice over the weekend. I would recommend to order the sausage platter or roast pork, delish! Their beer selection is awesome, better than a lot of places down in SF. Cheers!

Absolutely loved the good ambience at this place. the service was really really good. The on tap German beer outstanding. The food was good but not great. But had a fantastic overall experience. Parking can be a problem due to limited space but that can also be due to a private event taking place. would definitely come back here the next time I am in Tahoe.
