My bad experience is actually with Dr Hempeck. He is awful. He was so rude and didn't want to answer questions. Stayed in my Dad's room for maybe 5 minutes. My Dad has a broken neck and he acted like it was no big deal. Saying "oh he will be fine" Well it is a big deal to me. All the other staff were great. Nurses are exceptional. Respiratory was great.

These people refuse to give me any type of treatment. No tests were ran even when i requested testing i was told it probably wouldn't do any good and would be costly. I told the physician that i have insurance and i don't mind paying in which she then responded that it would be unethical for her to order the testing if she thought nothing would come of it. This is my 3rd time being treated like this at Columbus regional and i am beyond dissatisfied with the lack of service and compassion these people have. I just want piece of mind is that to much to ask?

Today myself and two patients before me were treated less than human. One by one we were told we could not be seen due to non emergencies. No tests were run, we weren't even allowed to speak to a doctor. I was told sarcastically, after saying my pain level was widespread and 10, that they couldn't just prescribe me pain killers. I did not want or ask for pain medicine. I wanted answers. I asked if any blood test or x-ray could be done to find out what was going on. After finding out I had no insurance I was immediately treated like scum and talked down to. Even told, with you hurting all over we wouldn't even know where to start. They can not rule out injury w/out even running one single test and considering I explained my type of work is very strenuous. I could have injured my back or have something serious going on. So if you're uninsured and aren't bleeding profusely I highly suggest going any place other than the Piedmont Medical Center. I'd treat a stray dog better then these people treated me and the two before me today.

Worst health care service I have ever had. Stay away if you want to get good health care.

I had to take my fiance to the hospital for a serious allergic reaction. The doctors and nurses are good. But this one nurse, I guess she felt like I couldn't handle speaking Spanish. My fiance is Spanish. She totally ignored me being in the room. I felt Insulted, because I did as much as getting him here, communicating with him as far as pain, and etc.. What made her think I wasn't good enough to be acknowledged? I'm not fluent in speaking Spanish, but I very well understand. I felt out of place and stupid, she literally moved me out of the way. I'm thinking racism on her part, I'm biracial/black... He's Spanish, she's Spanish and I guess she thought I'm illiterate. You don't understand how many Spanish women and men are against us because of race! Of course, that's where my mind went. And for those you who will say its not about me.... I know that!!! But he isn't comfortable without me, especially when he is sick and I damn sure want to be by his side, he wanted me to speak for him, I mean he is struggling to breathe, his throat is swollen, and his tongue and lips are swollen, he doesn't want to talk. So I give them a three for good service, the attitude she has a one, if that and if you ever run into her you will know who I am talking of.
