Unfortunately my husband and I are just now getting back home after an hour and a half drive home. My husband booked the only suite available for our FIRST wedding anniversary weekend. Excited and ready to relax, especially after a day of 18 holes then dinner at a diner.. greeted by a room infested with spiders. The bed had spiders crawling in it and the engineer they had come take a look after the complaint (side note : we were willing to wait for someone to come and do a quick cleanup, but they said no one was there for that and if anything, the engineer would do it), looked BEHIND the bed and immediately said that he would move rooms too.. where is the house keeping? there was HAIR in the tub and cobwebs everywhere.. sticky counter tops.. dirty mini fridge.. disgusting.. We are both confused as to knowing that this was booked a month in advance for us to come stay.. you would think someone would care enough to clean the room.. so we load our stuff to go back to the front desk and move to another room. The new room was the size of a closet.. not what we drove for but.. okay, we were already here and tired.. next room has hair on the pillows and makeup on it.. Hair in the tub and sink.. Disgusting. Whoever is in charge of house keeping, doesn’t need to be in house keeping anymore.. This place has so much potential and it’s hard not to question DO YOU NOT WANT TO BE A GREAT ESTABLISHMENT? DO YOU WANT THIS REPUTATION? Clearly.. I’m not the only one that has experienced this, but it’s sad that my husband and I book the most expensive room in advance and no effort was put into it AT ALL.. This place has a ton of work to progress and clean up the tarnished reputation it has made for itself.. It would be so nice to have a formal apology made by whoever runs this establishment. Give us a call when things are clean.
* also.. we have a $327 pending charge on our credit card for the one night that we DID NOT stay due to all of this happening.

Service was good. The location is spectacular. Being her for a wedding was just really great an awesome venue. Rooms are dated and needs work. Half the TVs and room phone did not work. The biggest complaint is the fact there are no refrigerators in any of the rooms.

The staff in the dining area hang around in the seats next to you on their phones and bark at each other while struggling to manage a dining room of six whole customers. The breakfast buffet is full of stale food and unmixed frozen orange juice. Then, in our case, once we finished our meal, they charged us nearly $100 for what should have been a $36 dollar ticket. When we called to get that straightened out, we were placed on hold and had to just hang up after waiting 30 minutes for someone to help us. The TVs in the rooms are trash and the bathtubs are disgusting. The indoor pool AND the hot tub were both freezing. Quartz Mountain is great. This place is a mismanaged joke. Save your money and enjoy one of the many well maintained camp sites that are around.

We stayed for two nights at the lodge, spending the day exploring the park by car and on foot. The lobby looks to be updated and is very nice. The rooms could use a bit of the same treatment. The lights were very dim and there were only two lamps that worked (after moving a bulb from a non-working lamp to a functional one). The bathroom was small and could use a renovation, but was able to fulfill it's duties. The heater worked very well and kept the room plenty warm. The pool was heated and indoors, which was very nice to use during our winter stay. It was a bit cold going from there pool building to the rooms, but worth it. I wish we would have booked a lake side room, as the mountain view is more of a courtyard / lobby / entry building view. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and will stay here again if heard back to Quartz Mountains.

Stayed for a family reunion. The lodge was a back up plan. While many of the staff are nice people, they don't seem to communicate with each other often. Morning crew told us different information than the afternoon shift.
My first room had large dead bugs left behind by house keeping. The air conditioning was broken, but I arrived at 10 pm, so I didn't realize this. I just thought it was too humid in the room. Then a miserable night with a very loud fan, and a visit to another room with a working A.C. had me calling the front desk. They gave me a different room. The A.C. worked much better. The pillows were still feather-like fluff, with no substance to them.
Don't bother with the restaurant breakfast buffet. Too expensive and not great.
