We lost our son in a motorcycle accident...they loaned their brand new trailer and a 60k+ pickup to us so we could have bikes at our funeral service. Even going so far as to loaning an additional bike and storing them overnight in a heated garage so as not to damage them when we started them in the freezing temps. They don't even know us and they graciously offered this to us. To say we recommend Judy and Rochester Harley is the understatement of a lifetime!!!
PLEASE, if you are going to buy a bike or need repairs, gear, etc...please give them your business. Very few people in this life are selfless anymore, especially in business, they are members of that very small and elusive club.

Judy in Sales - absolutely wonderful! Yes, I would buy another motorcycle from here again.
Otherwise, over the course of the following 2 years, my experience with RHD has been negative.
Dealer paperwork trail (work order, in/out milage) has been poor and I have had to request paperwork when leaving the dealer after a service. You know, when you get your oil changed in your vehicle, the shop shows you tire tread, fluid levels, break condition - nothing of the type here.
The lack of communication is present. Two years in a row, coming out of winter storage, my bike has needed extra attention to details that were missed in the winter work order - wrong blinkers put on, clutch and break cables mis-routed (clutch cable though the middle of the handle bars, front break cable behind throttle cables that worried me about potential pinching, plus it rubbed the heck out of my clear coat), handlebars were loose - first day out of the season I was on a 635+ mile bike ride one way to KS. Coming into Des Moines, I stood up slightly to stretch and my handlebars rotated upward with me while going 65mph! Talk about a come-to-Jesus moment. Second winter - a concise list of instructions were failed to be followed - not all parts were powder coated as requested. The service department corrected their mistake, and I'm thankful for that. It should not have been an issue in the first place, but you could feel the tension in the air and it was inappropriate how the mechanic snapped back to me he was 'just doing what he was told' as he fixed the error.
When I walk in the door, I feel disrespected and am ignored by most of the staff. If you're looking for a positive experience beyond just buying a motorcycle - be warned.
