We went twice when both of my children were 1. The first time, they told us we couldn't leave the hospital without paying upfront, without even contacting my insurance. It's been two years now and I'm still battling them, as they claim the amount I paid via credit card isn't showing in their billing system. I have sent proof of payment multiple times and they keep sending me collections letters. THEY OWE ME MONEY AS I OVERPAID!!
Second time, the person taking our information told me I had to pay $1,800 up front before seeing a doctor. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty. I have insurance for a reason! I only ended up having to pay a fraction out of pocket. They are thieves and liars!
The billing department and customer service is terrible. If I were dying I wouldn't go there. There is no reason that I should be having to prove that I paid them multiple times over the past few years. It's unbelievable. I'm about to hire an attorney. Their disorganization shouldn't become my problem.

An easy and secure way to pay for your care. Actually it is not and their customer service is unfortunately not set up well. it seems to me the representatives are not equipped with the tools they need to service. Since Jan I am dealing with an unresolved issue of a credit card payment.

Nurses and Assistants are outstanding! Very professional, people-oriented and trustworthy. They go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.
Most physicians are useless. Some of them they come, say hello and leave then you will see a huge insurance bill. Administration is zero and this is a hospital that wants to become a magnet hospital.
Was admitted on a Saturday and was not given a room with shower. Had to use my imagination to clean myself and every time they would tell you, we will find you a room with a shower you could forget about it.
The Nurses and Assistants are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the rest I don’t know.

I'm so disappointed with saint barnabas, when I give birth to my baby girl last year the nurses were amazing. The BIGGEST PROBLEM I'm having is the billing. I'm still getting bills from a year ago and when I go for Charity care the lady that's supposed to help me with everything is taking months. Its always the same answer (I'm going to submit it, give it a week.) Well it's been almost 3 months. Now that I'm having my second child I'm looking at a different hospital.

Great compassionate care. The hospital has been upgraded with a new state of the art wing. They now provide private rooms for most hospital stays.
