Sears Appliance Repair

The gentleman that provided our service repair on 3/23/18 was great. Very knowledgeable, highly skilled, able to diagnose the problem, and successfully complete the repair. (Note: From our experience, not all of Sears representatives are this able/skilled.)

i'm forced to give them a 1 star review. this is by far the worse appliance repair co. and warranty service in the recorded history of time. had to take time off work to meet their schedule of 8-12 or 1-5, no weekends. on one occasion the service man cancelled on me because he didn't feel like dealing with traffic. on another occasion my heat pump was running on emergency heat and they refused to come any earlier than 2 weeks. furthermore, once they finally did come to fix my heat pump, the technician said he had to order a 'part' and he would call me. never heard from the man nor the company. a week later i asked the status of it and nobody had any record of what he had done. i could go on forever on this. but the purpose of this review is to warn other: go somewhere else besides SEARS. they suck.

second time I am using them. same day service-on time. good communication throughout. price was high but they did honor their 15% coupon so it helped a bit.

This is probably the 5th time we had them come out for our Kenmore dishwasher. I called because the dishwasher is not draining the water and our once quiet dishwasher is loud. More or less same as the other 4 times they've come out. This time, I was asked to verify the model number of my dishwasher - apparently they wanted to make sure I didn't steal it, (she said she had the number but wanted me to verify it!) and then they proceeded to tell me to scoop out all the water and make sure the filter is clear. I'm not sure why I would call if I could repair the thing myself. I finally asked, "can I please schedule an appointment?" So now my appointment is over a week away. Who knew they were so busy when they want you to fix it yourself.

The repairman was very pleasant. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it in record time.
