Room was clean with standard amenities. Hotel is currently under renovation but the guest rooms seem to be complete. Will not be staying here again regardless. We had reserved a king bed room online but discovered we had been given a double twin room once we got to the room. When we contacted the front desk we were told Sheraton Eatowntown's own website booked us the king bed room in error as none were available, yet at no time previous did anyone decide to inform us of this. When we refused a complimentary breakfast, the staff came back to us 20 minutes later to inform us they had a king room available and that another employee would bring us to the room. We then sat for 35 minutes longer until anyone showed up, at which point we were placed in the vacant room literally one door over in a conjoining room that was now miraculously available. While the situation was resolved to our satisfaction the staff, though polite, were completely unapologetic and did not seem to sympathize at all for us having to uncomfortably wait an hour post check-in to receive the room we had reserved in the first place. Of noteworthiness was the fact this was a conjoining room of which we reserved no indication during booking or check in, and were alarmed to discover the doors on both sides were unlocked. Had we not checked, anyone staying next door could have wandered into the room at any point. The room thermostat also appears to be for decorative purposes. Despite turning it down to the minimum 65 degrees with the air running nonstop, the room actually warmed from 70 to an uncomfortable 74 degrees overnight.

The room, although it was modern and newly renovated, it had a stale smoke smell that was very strong. The toilet had a cistern you had to manually adjust to stop the noise it made, and the air conditioning was very, very loud and came on in bursts (as other guests have mentioned). There is no mini bar nor snacks to purchase in the room.
Given that the hotel is under renovation, all there is to rate this hotel is the room!
There was no where to eat on site (including no room service), no gym and no pool. In the booking reservation there is nothing to say the pool was closed nor that they do not have any food facilities at all onsite (it only mentioned one restaurant being closed, not the kitchens) and the cost for one night, given the lack of facilities, was day-light robbery. They inflated the prices due to the marathon weekend, rather than providing a fair price relative to the services and facilities available.
The only good part was the service, which was professional, polite, efficient and gave a good recommendation for a diner near by (that’s what the star is for!).
My recommendation would be to stay somewhere cheaper with facilities because you are paying extra for nothing here. Certainly not SPG Standard.

Terrible experience, from the get go! I get to my room and all i hear is the renovations going on, on the floor, which was very disturbing. Then i turn the TV on to find out, the signal doesn't work, when i called downstairs i was told that, that is what happens when it rains outside, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The next day i went downstairs to their sorry excuse for a breakfast. To my surprise there was no hot food and very little to chose from. They also have people checking you off at the door asking you what room your in, which is just sad. Later on in the day i returned to my room as it is being cleaned and i smell a terrible stench, i look around to try and find out where it is coming from and i realize it is the cleaning lady, who smelled terribly of B.O, my whole room reeked of her.
This was the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel and it is utterly disappointing.

4 stars only because of the renovations happening. The guest rooms on floor 4 have been upgraded and look nice. The others parts of the hotel are still work in progress so if you're just looking for bed, this works great. The indoor pool looked to have some work being done. Fitness center is working properly with several cardio machines, dumbbells and stretching area.
The Sheraton Club is still being upgraded so they allow you to go to their hotel bar or restaurant for breakfast.
