Rooms are small and cramp. Also, the front desk staff are worthless and lie to you when you call them for the shuttle. We waited for over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. We called the hotel's front desk about 3 times, every time the front desk staff LIED and said that the shuttle had left already. The shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel takes about 20 minutes. We also experienced the same situation when we requested the shuttle from the train station back to the hotel after a trip to New York. Called the front desk about five times as well and there response was we will let the shuttle driver know. The shuttle never showed. We ended up walking to the hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel, there were two shuttles up front, one completely empty. I will never stay in this hotel, and I will think twice in staying at any Best Westerns in the future.

Beautiful lobby. Our bathroom had weird black stuff in the shower, wall paper was peeling. Bedroom portion was nice with comfy beds. Go earlier than closing for breakfast because when the food runs out, they don't replenish. Shuttle service to and from airport is nice but can be better streamlined. Had to wait 1 hour from calling to get picked up from airport.

First of all, I had no idea how historic this place was. Wow. The history is on the walls. Secondly, the prices when compared to Manhattan are a real deal. I stayed three nights and enjoyed free parking and a free breakfast each morning for the price of one night in Manhattan. I jumped on the Path train and after a quick 25 minute ride, I was at the World Trade Center. I am sure that I will go back and stay again. My daughter lives in Manhattan and this hotel makes so much sense when we drive from Illinois. Thanks to the staff for a nice stay in a nicely appointed and clean room.

The location, value, room, breakfast were all fine. However, when we had a problem, customer service was nonexistent. We were even told by the night front desk person that we could always go to another hotel. A real shame, because we were pleased with it up to that point. If you have no problems, then it’s the perfect place to stay in Jersey. But if you need help, it’d better be at the right time or you may have to wait a long time. In my opinion, the evening and night staff didn’t look or act professional. The manager was there only 9 to 5, so there is no one to go to after hours.

Had to stay here 1 night because of a flight cancellation. It was great. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good showers, friendly staff. Breakfast is free and it is decent for what you would expect. Wifi works just fine...trust me this option is fantastic compared to some of the budget options around Newark. Free shuttle to the airport (I did not like the driver as he was rude to one of the guests during the ride).
