Modern interior to the hotel and the rooms similar so. Comfortable rooms and beds as to be expected. The bar and restaurant area were good, attentive service and quality of the food. Certainly good for business stop overs which was the purpose of my trip. Would recommend this hotel. Nothing negative to say of this hotel.

Great hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Gym had enough to work with if you want a quick work out. Pool was nice, hot tub was not hot. That was the only bad point I could make. Other than that, I highly recommend staying at the Renaissance.

I am having my wedding guests stay here next week. I was here to drop off welcome bags.
UPDATE: My wedding day has since come and gone. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and those who keep it running. I worked closely with Erica and Denise with setting up my room blocks and the morning after breakfast. Both were extremely attentive and assisted in every way possible to make my guests (and mine as well) stay as delightful as possible. The entire Renaissance staff needs to be commended as well. While I unfortunately cannot remember all of their names, anyone that I came into contact with was just as diligent in seeing to our needs as well as our guests needs.
Thank you, to the entire staff, for your help in making this aspect of planning a wedding as easy as possible.

Very nice hotel. We stayed here overnight to see a concert at the Wellmont theater. We stayed in a whirlpool suite. Everything was very clean and stylish. I like the earthy feeling of the whole place. There is a lot of shopping and so many places to eat too. Lots of vegan options! They gave us late check-out complimentary which was so nice. There is no breakfast included and it is a little pricey but I recommend (literally 5 minutes from hotel) the Rutherford pancake house, so yum. Staff is very friendly at hotel, look forward to our next visit!

Our stay started off well, but ended terribly. The hotel staff loudly discussed a situation that happened with the neighboring room out in the hallway after hours when it was clear people were trying to get sleep. The discussion between the staff and the hotel client could have and should have happened in the hotel lobby at that time of night when customers are trying to get SLEEP after a long day. Numerous customers had to come out to see what was going on outside and told the staff if they didnt table the situation and move it elsewhere so people can sleep, we were all going to move to another hotel. I understand the issue initially being discussed on the 3rd floor hallway but it was clear that the situation was obviously resolved yet loud discussion from the hotel staff/security in particular still continued and I believe that is extremely unprofessional at that time of night when you know customers are trying to sleep.
Improve staff communication. If a customer is having an issue, resolve the matter as quickly as possible and make sure surrounding customers aren't effected by another customer’s issue. When communicating with customers during what many consider sleeping hours, hotel staff should KEEP THEIR VOICES DOWN, and move the conversation to the hotel lobby if a discussion goes well over 5 minutes.
