The Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center

Sits in the heart of Rutgers campus. There is valet as soon as you pull up which is handled and paid for through your phone(it’s pretty convenient). Check in is pretty easy and one thing I love about the front desk crew is that they check for free upgrades before confirming your booked room. Perks: Bar on first floor. Breakfast buffet in the morning on first floor. There is a pretty good gym and pool on the third floor. Rooms: Rooms are updated. Beds are soft and there are plenty of pillows. Showers have a good hot to cold moderation and the pressure from the shower head is great. I highly recommend you plan your lodging with Heldrich. Enjoy Folks! Leave a like if you can 👍

Heldrich is a great location when visiting downtown New Brunswick. The hotel staff were a bit of mixed bag when it came to helpfulness. Some were nice and helpful and some were not and didn't seem to want to be bothered. Food is okay but nothing to write home about. Overall, the space is large and well maintained for a large event.

Nice place. Good catering. Room was a little tight, but they hosted a great event. I don't think I'll be trying to go to all their events from now on, but it's a good enough space.

Wonderful location in New Brunswick, close to the train station, Rutgers campus, George Street, and the State Theater. It will be in an even better position when construction on the new arts complex and The Hub is complete. Beautiful lobby, with great artistic choices that make it feel more unique than a standard hotel. Solid, clean rooms, though nothing extraordinary. Great service at the front desk, very friendly. Somewhat lacking in included amenities for the tier of hotel: no free Wi-Fi, no in room microwaves or mini-fridges, few additional services. There are many conference rooms that I did not use during my stay, as well as a fitness center and spa. Overall very good experience, that with some minor changes that could make it great.

Went for mother's day brunch buffet at the restaurant and it was great. Great food, staff, and ambience. They were also very accommodating to young children and had a small buffet table set up specifically with kids foods.
