Our favorite Japanese Restaurant in Santa Rosa. Whenever my favorite son-in-law visits from SoCal we have to take one night's dinner (at least) at Shogun's. It's always a wonderful experience …even when my wife and I dine here alone. Try everything! I've never been disappointed with any Shogun dish.

One of my top two favorite restaurants. Traditional Japanese dinner house and Sushi bar. The food is always high quality and prepared to perfection. Best miso soup anywhere! Meals come with soup, salad, rice, entree and delicious veggie sides. Meat is trimmed thoroughly and we'll. Very generous portions and reasonably priced. Restaurant is always well kept and very clean. The service is excellent, from the greeting at the door to the hot hand towels at the table, thru check out. I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years and I've never been disappointed once.

The fish is so fresh!! I usually get the rolls but I tried the sashimi and it was AMAZING!!
