This is my favorite sushi restaurant. Family owned and operated. Highest caliber sushi that I've ever eaten...and I've had a LOT! Very reasonably priced and excellent service!

Got beef sukiyaki and my husband got some sushi rolls. Food was delicious but it's pricey even by California standards. The atmosphere is nice but for me it's smelly (fried food smell from kitchen) had to air my sweater for a couple days afterwards... Staff was friendly. Went during busy hours and the wait time (time after order until the food comes) was about 20-30 minutes.

Went for dinner last week, l with my Godfather that is 99, he use to love coming here years ago, but I guess everything has changed even he mentioned the service has changed compared to when he use to come here. Very small Japanese restaurant. Service was not pleasant. The servers gave us the bill before we asked as if they were hurrying us to leave. I will say ordered the flying fish sushi, that was pretty fresh, the eel rice dinner was not as good. The eel was very fat mostly fat not much meat...And just poured the sauce over the fish nothing special. The so called salad with the dinner was few piece of pickled cucumber and small bowl of miso soup....For the price we pay... I wasnt expecting extravaganza food but to say the least give us better than few piece of pickled cucumber, if not atleast up the service....The servers was just sitting around hanging around. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.
